Specification
RRIB 530 Snipe and the 440 Hornet are the result of exhaustive sea trials and are being delivered to a European Government for the use of their armed forces. This craft design has overcome the problems so many inflatables have where a heavy and cumbersome deck is supplied to ensure boat stiffness. This design incorporates a system that ensures deck and hull rigidity but does not increase the overall boat weight. This specification ensures the craft is capable of being employed for rapid deployment operations, fixed wing air launch , helicopter launching and other surface and subsurface launches.
